About our group:The Products, Supply and Demand Operations drives product and supply/demand decisions across the factories to attain the business goals. We collaborate with Design Center, PLM and Sales Ops to launch products and optimize the ramp to maximize supply response to available demand.The primary strategic focus is to balance demand and supply choices, with increasing focus on working cross functionally with marketing, product development and finance, to reconcile top-down financial plans with the bottom-up operational plans.About the role - you will:The SAP/IBP Supply Network Planning Director will lead a team to complete the SAP IBP transformation within a set deadline to support business initiatives. This individual will communicate with cross-functional teams, make decisions, and monitor the transformation\'s progress to ensure it remains on schedule.Responsibilities for the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Consulting with senior management to ascertain business needs and appraising the IT infrastructure\'s performance in meeting those needs.
  • Working with internal teams to pinpoint business requirements and deploying SAP capabilities and solutions that fulfill these requirements.
  • Developing both long-term and short-term plans, setting milestones, and adhering to deadlines.
  • Assigning tasks for the transformation, acting as a subject matter expert in SAP IBP, and developing other subject matter experts.
  • Making informed decisions when faced with various options for advancing the transformation.
  • Acting as a liaison for teams when multiple units are working on the same project to ensure coordinated efforts.
  • Keeping in touch with executives to align transformation efforts with their objectives.
  • Conducting quality control checks on the transformation\'s progress to uphold expected standards.
  • Modifying schedules and targets as project needs or financing change, while keeping alignment with the overarching business goal.
In addition to the technical implementation for Seagate operations, this role encompasses the management of supply/demand planning and alignment for a portion of the Seagate portfolio, with an expected workload ratio of 20% for the planning aspect. With the implementation of new SAP/IBP enhancements:- Collaborating with the Global Process Owner to prioritize technical deployment and enhancements.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues to enhance performance.
- Providing end-user support and guidance.About you:
  • Project management: Knows the critical steps and processes involved in managing projects from inception to completion; track progress and move teams to complete goals.
  • Presentation: Adept at constructing presentations for the S&OP team to communicate process, concepts, data, scenarios and other critical information to facilitate teamwork and decision making.
Your experience includes:
  • Minimum bachelor\'s degree in business administration or engineering.
  • Deep knowledge of business units, products and geographies within the organization, including: * An in-depth understanding of sales, demand planning and supply planning.
  • Working knowledge of the commercial side of the business and products.
  • Understanding of the new product development, new product life cycle and product-phase-out processes.
  • Exposure to, and understanding of, financial planning and the linkages between the demand/supply plan and the financial plan.
  • Understanding of supply chain flexibility, how it can be increased or decreased, and the associated costs.
  • Understanding of the HDD/ Storage industry. Analytical: experienced in, and skilled at, finding and understanding data and data patterns to construct conclusions and insights that aid in decision making processes.
  • Forecast methodologies: create forecasts, using analytical tools and various sources of data; explain how forecasts have been constructed and comment on relative confidence of forecasts.
  • Scenario planning: construct scenarios based on various sources of data to provide options to S&OP team.
