The Director, Government and Policy Advocacy, South-East Asia will join a strengthened and dynamic Government and Policy Advocacy team focused on enhancing Ericssons insight, access, and influence with policymakers. Our policy issues are focused on our business interests wide-ranging, critical to customers, and at the heart of progress for society. We strive to influence policy early in its development and seed new policy ideas to support our companys strategy and business objectives.
Reporting to the Regional Head, Government and Policy Advocacy, Asia, you will design, develop and execute strategic government advocacy programs on Ericssons policy priorities and positions in key markets in South-East Asia, on a broad range of technology issues to support our business.
You will bring a strong understanding of technology market dynamics, as well as the external political and geopolitical context to help enable a telecommunications-friendly policy regime.
In close collaboration with the Market Area Head, Country Managers and the Regional Head, Government and Policy Advocacy, Asia the Director, Government and Policy Advocacy South-East Asia will be responsible for:

• Anticipating, distilling, and effectively communicating the significance of technology policy change, geopolitical trends and market trends in South-East Asia on Ericssons business.
• Developing and executing, with subject matter experts, strategic technology policy focused advocacy plans and narratives within a global cross functional matrix environment.
• Effectively contributing relevant insight and status of advocacy activity to a strategic governance forum.
• Preparing high quality targeted written and oral briefs for governance forums, senior management engagement with government stakeholders.
• Effectively representing Ericsson in meetings with senior government stakeholders.
