Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the company's daily operations in painting, decorating, and building completion projects.
Plan, execute, and monitor projects to ensure quality, budget, and timeline compliance.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Lead tender preparation, cost estimation, and project proposals.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company policies.
Supervise project managers, site supervisors, and teams to ensure efficient workflow.
Drive business development opportunities and strategic partnerships to grow the company's market presence.
Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Conduct regular performance reviews and ensure staff development.
Report to the Board of Directors on operational and strategic matters.
Requirements
Proven experience in
painting, decorating, or building finishing industry
, with at least 3 years in a managerial or director-level role.
Strong project management, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in both
spoken and written English, Chinese and Malay
to communicate with local and overseas clients and suppliers.
Good command of English for reporting and documentation.
Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Strong financial and business acumen.
Hands-on experience in site operations and finishing works.
Familiarity with local construction regulations and practices.
