[What the role is]
The Technology Office drives the development and deployment of technology to boost Singapore\xe2\x80\x99s competitiveness as an air hub.
[What you will be working on]
\xef\x82\xa7 Develop aviation technology road map and sustainable engineering capability plan in consultation with various stakeholders in the aviation/airport operations ecosystem.
\xef\x82\xa7 Develop business plan and an integrated technology and engineering development roadmap.
\xef\x82\xa7 Lead system architecting and system development efforts.
\xef\x82\xa7 Conduct system trade-off analysis
\xef\x82\xa7 Assess technical performance metrics, identify and manage risks factors.
\xef\x82\xa7 Evaluate and implement new technologies and solutions.
\xef\x82\xa7 Supervise new product development.
\xef\x82\xa7 Collaborate with the industry and key stakeholders to define and execute goals, strategy, and vision.
\xef\x82\xa7 Design strategies for future development projects based on aviation sector\xe2\x80\x99s overall objectives and resources.
\xef\x82\xa7 Work with Research performers to evaluate suitability of projects for eventual deployment.
\xef\x82\xa7 Review the delivery of research outputs to ensure adequacy for translation into industrial applications.
\xef\x82\xa7 Review and update policies relevant to internal systems and processes.
\xef\x82\xa7 Develop Strategy to build sector\xe2\x80\x99s engineering capability.
\xef\x82\xa7 Coordinate with key stakeholders to identify, build and retain sector\xe2\x80\x99s key engineering capability.
\xef\x82\xa7 Enhance the recruitment, training and retention of key engineering capabilities.
\xef\x82\xa7 Develop and implement strategies to ensure the sustenance of core engineering competencies.
\xef\x82\xa7 Develop strategies and framework to ensure projects under evaluation can comply with industry security, safety and compliance standards.
\xef\x82\xa7 Lead on multiple cross-functional quality initiatives for improve QA process improvements.

[What we are looking for]
\xef\x82\xa7 Trained in Engineering, Computer Science or related disciplines
\xef\x82\xa7 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence and drive win-win outcomes with stakeholders
\xef\x82\xa7 Experience in technology and solution development for real-world applications, i.e. from concept to productization, the candidate must have solid system engineering approach and thinking process

Note: Your appointment designation will commensurate with your relevant work experience. Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract in the first instance, and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure or subsequent contract renewal.
