Job Description

Our client, a premier financial institution in the region, is looking for a Director, Testing Standards Manager to spearhead a new and dynamic team within the organization. As Director, Testing Standards Manager, you would have come from a strong IT audit background within the financial services sector, and you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance in the organization\'s testing processes. You will be responsible for developing and implementing robust testing strategies, establishing governance frameworks, and maintaining adherence to industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of our products/services.
• Establish and maintain testing governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of testing processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Conduct regular audits and reviews of testing activities to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate testing requirements into the software development lifecycle and promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Provide guidance and support to testing teams on testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory changes in the testing and quality assurance domain.

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 10+ years proven experience in IT audit, quality assurance, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Experience in developing and implementing testing governance frameworks and quality assurance processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.
