Job Description

: The Distribution Channel Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing the distribution channels of a company. They oversee the movement of products or services from the manufacturer or supplier to the end customer, ensuring efficient fulfillment and inventory consignment. The role requires a strong business acumen, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities: * Develop and Implement Distribution Strategies: Formulate and execute distribution strategies that align with the company\'s overall goals and objectives. This involves analyzing market trends, identifying target markets, and determining the most effective distribution channels.

• Manage Distribution Channels: Establish and maintain relationships with distributors and other channel partners. Monitor their performance, provide support, and address any issues or concerns that may arise.
• Fulfillment Management: Oversee the fulfillment process, including order processing, shipping, and delivery. Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment to meet customer expectations.
• Inventory Consignment: Monitor inventory levels, track stock movement, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure adequate supply. Optimize inventory management practices, including consignment inventory, to minimize costs while meeting customer demand.
• Sales and Marketing Collaboration: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align distribution strategies with sales objectives and support marketing campaigns. Provide input and insights to develop effective promotional activities.
• Performance Analysis: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to distribution and inventory management. Analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve distribution channel performance.
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, including distributors, and internal stakeholders. Foster collaboration and resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise

Requirements

• A bachelor\'s degree in business, supply chain management, logistics, or a related field is typically required.
• Previous experience in distribution channel management, supply chain management, or a related field is essential. Experience in a relevant industry or product category is a plus.
• Strong understanding of business principles, market dynamics, and customer behaviour. Ability to align distribution strategies with broader business objectives.
• Proficiency in data analysis, interpretation, and decision-making based on insights. Experience with inventory management systems and analytical tools is advantageous.
• Ability to think strategically and identify opportunities for process improvements, cost optimization, and enhancing the overall efficiency of the distribution network.
