Distribution Operations Manager South East Asia

Job Description


This role provides strong tactical and strategic leadership of all distribution activities across the South-East Asia market, partnering with the Emerging Asia (EA) commercial team to ensure their business requirements are satisfied. This role will encompass local management of the order to fulfilment process, fulfilling trade requirements, warehousing and transport, and localization strategy and execution. This will include leading of projects driving efficiency, cost reduction, process and technology deployment programs, ensuring that all distribution activities exceed customer expectations. Proactively offer innovative solutions and a customer centric mindset to ensure best practice and customer service is delivered every time. The right candidate will easily build strong working relationships with other functions such as IT, Quality, Regulatory, Commercial, Finance.Let\xe2\x80\x99s talk about Responsibilities

  • Lead with integrity, all distribution activities for our South-East Asia businesses ensuring ongoing high performance and the highest level of customer service.
  • Ensure that all core operational activities, and underlying business systems and processes, across different sites within the SEA region satisfy the needs of the commercial organisation.
  • Support the SEA Sales Teams in reaching established revenue budgets.
  • Lead business process improvement projects that require a high level of technical/process analysis skills.
  • Deliver application/business process solutions that reduce complexity and drive productivity to realise business benefits.

  • Proven leadership and team development skills
  • Agility in strategic thinking and problem solving to seek and develop alternative ideas
  • Excellent process and business analysis experience in redesigning processes and workflows
  • Ability to deliver on key business drivers and exceed targets
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills with high attention to detail
  • High level of professional maturity to collaborate and built high quality working relationships with other stakeholders and actively influence positive change within the business
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven experience (
3-5 years) in a leadership/management role preferably in an operations and logistics/ distribution environmentPreferred:
  • Experience working for a medical device company in key operational management positions
  • Financial management and commercial experience.
