Digital Manufacturing Operations (DMO) Automation IT Engineer

Under the supervision of the DMO Site IT Lead, the Automation IT Engineer is responsible for supporting execution of strategic projects and support Data analytics & Manufacturing intelligence initiatives at Singapore site & within region. The Automation IT Engineer is also responsible to ensure smooth functioning of DMO managed systems in compliance with SDLC, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety, and environmental regulations:

• Supports site-wide DMO projects and initiatives.
• Supports Site IT Lead to plan, schedule and execute DMO activities and to effectively support manufacturing operations.
• Supports account management of Laboratory Systems & IT systems like SIPAT, Serialization Track & Trace Systems etc.
• Supports Manufacturing Division initiatives on Data analytics & Manufacturing intelligence to meet production, cost effectiveness, and cost reduction targets set.
• Ensures DMO managed IT/Automation and Laboratory systems are being maintained in a controlled state at all times and in adherence to SDLC and site GMP practices.

Primary Responsibilities

• Participate in strategic projects as assigned to support key business priorities and objectives.
• Supports Site IT Lead or program/project leads to ensure effective project management, system qualification & operation support.
• Supports Site IT Lead to plan, schedule and execute DMO activities and to effectively support manufacturing & Laboratory operations, including Technical ownership of Laboratory Systems & IT systems like SIPAT, Serialization Track & Trace Systems etc.
• Collaborate with DMO Digital Shop Floor team and Hub Data Analytics team to support realize any analytics related Manufacturing Division initiatives.
• Ensures flow of information and technology from IT Hubs, Divisional & Manufacturing Division IT Centre of Excellence Teams.
• Participates proactively in Site and IT Hub initiatives, speaks up on difficult issues, problems and opportunities, ensures alignment of site strategies to divisional/corporate strategies.
• Demonstrates and promotes Quality and SHE leadership behavior, ensures all activities are carried out according to established Quality and SHE procedures.
• Practices a culture of continuous learning, develops business and technical skills, identifies opportunities to skill-up of individual and Team.
• Works with external resources as required to support site needs.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Education Minimum Requirement:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s in Electrical, Electronics or Computer Engineering

Required Experience and Skills:

• At least 3-5 years of relevant technical experience in the Pharmaceutical, or manufacturing-based industry, including:

• IT or Automation Support.
• Project Management.

Technical

• Demonstrated knowledge of Account and Project management expertise for IT/automation systems and work in cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated capability in application of appropriate trouble-shooting and problem solving techniques.
• Effective communication skills, ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Ability to demonstrate leadership behaviours in alignment with the Our Company leadership standards
