Job Title : Donor Relations Manager Job Relationship : Reports to Head of Communications
A.Job Summary
You will develop, plan, implement and evaluate initiatives to strengthen engagement and deepen relationships with new and existing donors. You will communicate and promote CAL’s mission to potential donors, identify relevant grants and other opportunities to support the organisation’s fundraising objectives.
B. Job Duties

• Research and develop donor nurturing and appreciation strategies across various donor profiles
• Prepare donation appeal and donor appreciation materials
• Innovate and create new funding channels
• Build and maintain the donor database
• Prepare grant proposals to government agencies, foundations and the like
• Assist in the planning and organisation of fundraising campaigns
• Support the work of the Comms Team as required

• Recognised degree in any discipline with a minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience
• Good level of professionalism and confidence
• Experience in client servicing, business development, and corporate pitching skills preferred
• Superior writing, interpersonal, relationship-building and presentation skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience in the social sector is an advantage
• Positive mindset, resourceful with initiative and able to manage multiple projects
