About the job
The Dotnet and AWS Support Engineer is responsible for the setup, configuration, and maintenance of IT infrastructure to ensure optimal system performance, availability, and security. The role involves hands-on management of on-premise and cloud-based systems, deployment tasks, and troubleshooting to maintain seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities

• Configure, harden, and manage various cloud environments (VM, Lambdas, RDS etc).
• Manage deployments and system testing for bug fixes, standard requests, and change requests.
• Perform cloud migration tasks ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.
• Ensure systems are patched with the latest patches.
• Monitor server uptime, system performance, and security compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network and hardware issues promptly.
• Maintain backups (system, application, and disaster recovery) and ensure data recovery plans are in place.
• Working understanding of ASP.NET lifecycle and development methodologies.
• Working understanding of web-based applications and how to perform investigations on website issues.
• Able to perform database activities such as table creation, view creation, stored procedure creation etc. Should be comfortable working with MSSQL.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and network diagrams.
• Maintain asset inventory and software licensing records.

Requirements and Qualification

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in system engineering.
• Proficient in SQL.
• Experience in .Net framework.
• Experience with Windows/Linux server environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud migration processes.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash) for automation.
• Backup management and disaster recovery planning experience.
