Job Description

1. Technical Drawings & Documentation

Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings, layouts, and construction documents based on design concepts and site measurements. Produce accurate floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed carpentry/shop drawings for approval and execution. Revise and update drawings according to feedback from designers, clients, or contractors.

2. Coordination with Designers & Project Teams

Work closely with interior designers, project managers, and site supervisors to translate design intent into workable drawings. Ensure all drawings comply with design requirements, building codes, and safety regulations. Assist in coordinating between consultants, contractors, and suppliers by providing updated drawings and clarifications.

3. Site & Measurement Support

Conduct site visits to verify dimensions and collect necessary data for drawings. Cross-check site conditions against drawings and highlight discrepancies for rectification.

4. Material & Technical Detailing

Incorporate technical details such as carpentry joints, finishes, material specifications, and fixture placement. Provide detailed specifications for fabrication and installation teams.

5. Quality & Standards

Ensure all drawings are precise, clear, and submitted within the required timelines. Maintain organized drawing files and documentation for project reference. Stay updated with drafting standards, software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, etc.), and industry practices.
