Job Description

The Embassy of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste in Singapore is looking for a Driver. This is a full-time position, subject to a probationary period of 3 months. Position Description \xc2\xb7 Transportation of the Ambassador, diplomats, and guests of the Embassy including all official engagements and other matters as required. \xc2\xb7 Responsibility for the care and maintenance of the Embassy vehicle \xe2\x80\x93 cleaning, repairs, and servicing \xc2\xb7 Office-related messenger duties such as collection and delivery of post. \xc2\xb7 Assisting with general administration at the Embassy when required. \xc2\xb7 Running errands for the Embassy as and when required. Requirements \xc2\xb7 Employee must possess a valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license issued by the Government of the Republic of Singapore with preferably at least 5 years of local driving experience as a personal driver. \xc2\xb7 Possess local knowledge with excellent driving skills, a clean driving record, and no criminal record. \xc2\xb7 A good command of English both oral and written. \xc2\xb7 Responsible, proactive, alert, and have good time management skills. \xc2\xb7 Flexibility to work overtime and on public holidays/weekends, which will be compensated with time-in-lieu. Working Hours \xc2\xb7 5-Day Work Week: Monday \xe2\x80\x93 Friday, 8:30am to 5.30pm \xc2\xb7 Tanjong Pagar Candidates must fulfill the requirements of legal residence in Singapore. Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience.
