Job Position : Early Childhood Teacher (Korean Language) Employment Type : Full Time Industry : Preschool Education

Job Responsibilities :

• To teach the Korean Language to Korean and expatriate children as required.

• To be responsible for all aspects of classroom management eg. Care of equipment with resources well-labelled and accessible and maintain a tidy, well organised room.

• Management on funds for lesson materials.

• To create an interesting and lively classroom which promotes independent learning.

• To assist in developing a Korean curriculum.

• To assist in communication (Home-School links) with current parents as required through the Littlelives application

• Translation, design of promotional advertising materials in Korean, if needed.

• To assist in marketing and promotion of school to reach the Korean community by Parental liaison, phone enquiries, assist in the promotion of school by liaising with prospective parents

• Explain to parents in connection with enrolment.

• Answering email enquiries from Korean parents.

• Any other duties as required by the Pre-School Director and Executive Principal.

• Assist in classes during non-Korean class teaching days
  

Job Requirements :

• Minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education or Korean Teacher Certificate from a recognised institution in Korea, or its equivalent,

• At least 2 years of relevant working experience in pre-school or childcare setting is required

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Able to work well independently as well as within a team

Compensations & Benefits
Basic Salary : SGD$2,600 (Fresh Dip), SGD$2,800 (Fresh Deg), up to SGD$3,700 Commission : Not Applicable
Allowance : Not Applicable
Working Location : Various locations in Singapore (For example, if you stay at orchard, the nearest centre is in orchard, but it is not available, then the next nearest available centre will be appointed instead).
Nearest MRT : Various
Working Days : Monday \xe2\x80\x93 Saturday
Working Hours : 44 Hours a week. Rotating shift between 7am \xe2\x80\x93 7pm from Monday to Friday & 7am \xe2\x80\x93 2pm on Saturday. Annual Leave : 12 Days
Medical Benefit : SGD$250 per year, claimable for outpatient medical services
AWS : Not Applicable
Performance Bonus : up to 1 month, depending on performance
