Job Description

Lead Teacher in a classroom setting for children with learning, behavioural and developmental needs Conduct individual and group EIP therapy sessions for children with learning, behavioural and developmental issues Work with team to plan and implement social, emotional and/or behavioural interventions. Conduct psycho-educational assessments and therapy services as necessary Develop intervention and lesson plans for individuals and group EIP programs Develop and apply holistic teaching methods and approaches, strategies and tools Provide thorough documentation and timely communication of progress and interventions Collaborate with therapists and other allied health professionals in the EIP Team Attend team meetings and professional development

Minimum Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Special Education or Early Intervention Experience in Early Intervention preferred Have a strong command of English and have good organizational skills Able to work independently and yet be a good team player
