Job Description


As an Early intervention teacher, you will work with children with disabilities and/or developmental delays. The position reports to the Senior Early Intervention Teacher.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and put in place education plans based on individual child\'s needs
  • Prepare teaching materials and resources according to the child\'s developmental level
  • Monitor progress and discuss child\'s learning progress and evaluate goals for individual child
  • Collaborate closely with families and professionals through regular case reviews

Requirement: . Specialist Diploma in Early Childhood Intervention (Special Needs) (SDESN) or acceptable equivalent
  • Diploma in Special Education by National Institute of Education (NIE)
. Certificate in Autism by Autism Resource Centre . Strong interest and commitment in working with children with learning disability, developmental delay and/or special needs \xe2\x80\x93 Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Global Developmental Delay, and a variety of learning and behavioural challenges
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • a passion to help special needs children to maximise their talents and potential
