Due to continuing growth and development of Ecommerce across the Merlin's Midway attractions (including Madame Tussauds, SEA LIFE, The Dungeons, LEGOLAND Discovery Centres and The Eye Brand), we are looking for an ecommerce specialist to join our team, based in Singapore.

This is an exciting opportunity for a junior ecommerce specialist, as we accelerate our digital presence and optimise key customer journeys across our websites, 3rd party platforms, stores and marketplaces to help us achieve our strategic goals.

Reporting to the Ecommerce Manager for the region this role will support attractions in Singapore, South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong and Thailand.

Key objectives of this role includes:

  • Review, monitor and support our local Marketing teams to optimise our presence on existing 3rd party platforms, stores and marketplaces ensuring they are in line with our Ecommerce best practices and revenue management principles.
  • Work with the Manager and local Marketing teams to identify, assess and trial new potential 3rd party platform opportunities to increase ticket sales and revenue
  • Support the Manager in optimising our digital customer journeys across our brand websites and booking platform, increasing revenue and yield
  • Day to day management of our ecommerce websites, from content management optimisations, delivering product and price changes to ensuring optimal customer journeys
  • Provide general support for the Manager across a broad range of initiatives including reporting, revenue management initiatives, A/B testing and conversion optimisation.
  • Provide support for the Performance Manager, Affiliates Executive & CRM Manager where required to grow the SEO, Paid Media, Affiliates & CRM programs in the region and connect with the local marketing teams.
  • Build good relationships with our internal stakeholders, to deliver local relevance, integration with local marketing campaigns and optimise performance associated with seasonality.
  • Regularly complete competitor analysis, communicate and share best practice ensuring this is always adhered to
What you can bring to the role:
  • Working knowledge of CMS systems
  • Hands on experience of updating and optimising websites
  • Good use of Excel to create and update reports and work with data to draw insight from.
  • Be an excellent communicator, collaborator and influencer.
  • Passionate and driven individual, who can demonstrate their enthusiasm for digital with a willingness to learn.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to multi task and hit the ground running within a hands on role.
  • Basic understanding of the ecommerce landscape across Asia including prominent 3rd party platforms / marketplaces and ecommerce trends
Any relevant multilingual skills will also be favourable due to supporting a wide variety of attractions operating in the region.
