Responsibilities
Official Institutions team manages IBG-FIG institutional relationships with sovereign wealth funds, central banks and multilateral development banks.
The Team Lead is to lead and manage the OI team in the coverage, and relationship management and business growth of the OI segment.
Understand and map market sizing including industry trends, opportunities and challenges. This includes markets in Asia Pacific which DBS wants to increase industry presence by taking into consideration bankability, regulatory framework, competitive advantage in terms of geographic franchise and product capabilities.
Develop strategic initiatives and priorities around the segment and work with product partners in T&M and GTS to develop and execute these strategies.
Identify those priority clients to deepen coverage and engagement across financial products and services that DBS can provide.
Articulate the strategic initiatives across key geographies within DBS network
Grow industry wallet revenue and lead in driving joint coverage names including account plan around the names (both existing and prospects)
Able to connect names beyond borders leveraging on DBS network, franchise and product capability to increase revenue share, and to scale/replicate across the ecosystem
Provide portfolio risk management and monitoring.
Requirements
Bachelor Degree with at least 12 years' relevant experience. Previous working experience in the FI/OI segment and with markets experience preferred.
Good knowledge of various financial solutions products especially in driving regional business and connectivity across different geographies
Strong credit knowledge
Able to develop senior level client relationships and confidence in pitching solutions and ideas.
Highly resourceful individual who should also be a team leader for the OI segment as well as a team player within the larger II / FIG segment
