Job Description
About Our ClientOur client is an independent price reporting agency (PRA) providing price assessments, original news and trade data for the global energy transition markets (biofuels, carbon offset, ammonia...). They are currently looking for an Editor to join their team in Singapore.
- Lead market coverage on a daily basis in the APAC renewable fuels and feedstocks markets
- Drive news reporting activities, ensuring timely coverage of events, producing original content sourced through market and industry contacts as well as company, regulatory and fundamentals/trade news, and daily market commentary
- Following market trading activity and ensuring the output of daily assessments
- Building and managing a database of contacts, seek potential new sources to contribute to news reporting and assessment processes
- Serve externally as a subject matter expert representing our client at industry events and face-to-face meetings with market participants
- Lead the identification and development of new market coverage opportunities
- About 5 years of experience covering commodity markets, if possible Energy related.
- Able to work independently
- Familiar with Price Reporting
- Strong news-writing skills
- Strong communication skills that demonstrate good listening, clear writing style, and strong verbal skills
