Job Description

Reuters is looking for an Editorial Intern in Singapore. You will work alongside commodities and energy reporters to produce world-class business journalism. Working hours are from Mondays to Fridays, between 9am to 6pm.

• Successful candidate is expected to commit the full period from Jan to Jun 2023.
• Only those based in Singapore and does not require visa sponsorship for full-time internship shall be considered.

About the Role

As an Editorial Intern, you will:

• Gain experience through reporting on a wide variety of commodities markets from oil to agriculture to metals
• Support other reporting teams including financial markets and general news if time permits

About You

As an Editorial Intern, you should possess:

• Excellent written English; knowledge of Asian languages preferential
• Comfort with maintaining and using databases to generate data-driven stories
• News judgment, ability to write with speed, clarity and accuracy
• Proven ability to report and execute initiative stories
• Strong data handling & analysis skills
