As an Editorial & Social Media Specialist at The Travel Intern, you\xe2\x80\x99ll play a key role in creating compelling editorial content, as well as developing and implementing the company\'s social media strategies to reach and impact more people.

Responsibilities & Expectations

1) Content Ideation and Pitching

• Be involved in content ideation and brainstorming sessions for both client and non-client projects, to provide input for new campaigns or client pitches.
• Contribute to content strategy and planning, including research of trends, competitors, user-generated content, and markets.

2) Content Creation

• Create and participate in multimedia content that is aligned with the brand\xe2\x80\x99s tone and messaging as required, not limited to writing, copywriting, pre-production, photography, design, and talenting if suitable.

3) Planning & Management

• Contribute to the preparation of local/overseas travel assignments, including itinerary planning, sponsorship and permit applications, etc.
• Guide juniors/interns in editorial and social media teams to ensure the content produced is on brief and on time.

4) Oversee social media content strategy and management

• Implement and coordinate social media campaigns that align with marketing strategies across assigned social media channels for growth.
• Contribute to content strategy and planning, including research of trends, competitors, user-generated content, and markets together with social media leads/creators.
• Analyse social media data to measure the effectiveness of our campaigns.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Prior experience with SEO
• Passion for travel writing
• Great multi-tasking capabilities and strong organisational skills
• Solid understanding of social media trends and extensive knowledge of at least two of the following platforms: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Lemon8
• Proficient in social media management tools

Bonus:

• Comfortable editing reels or Tiktoks on mobile editing softwares
• Proficient in photography and comfortable on camera
