Job Opening: Education & Engagement Specialist (Part-Time)

Are you passionate about working with children and confident in engaging parents and partners? Our new enrichment centre in Aljunied is looking for a proactive, warm, and fluent Mandarin-speaking Education & Engagement Specialist to join us part-time. This hybrid role blends abacus instruction with outreach and sales--perfect for someone who wants to grow as both an educator and communicator.

What You'll Do

Teach engaging abacus and/or brain training classes for children aged 4-12 (training fully sponsored) Support trial classes and guide parents through their child's learning journey Actively identify and pursue opportunities for student enrolment and education partnerships Represent the centre during roadshows and outreach events Provide feedback on student progress and contribute to curriculum refinement

Who You Are

Fluent in Mandarin and English (essential for parent communication) Experienced or enthusiastic about teaching children (abacus or math preferred) A strong communicator with a natural flair for sales and relationship-building Proactive, organized, and passionate about education Bonus: Experience in customer service, sales, or education outreach
Compensation

Teaching rate: $40/class Engagement rate: $15/hour (for outreach and roadshows) Sales commission: $50 per successful enrolment Roadshow hours: Saturdays & Sundays, 10am-12pm and 2pm-4pm Teaching schedule: Weekday after-school (based on enrolments) and weekends (based on demand)
