We are hiring an Education Sales Consultant in our Singapore office. In this role, you will be part of a passionate and driven team to grow the business and maximize the sales of Higher Education Solutions across assigned territories.

This role will also give you the opportunity and exposure to work and collaborate with other McGraw Hill\xe2\x80\x99s divisions, as well as distributors, across regions, for effective solutions to our customers.

Successful candidates will have the following experience:

  • Managing and developing an assigned territory of specific customers and accounts which includes daily sales calls activity, financial targets for print and digital products, number of adoptions retained, new adoptions reported, closing rate of opportunities and proactively seeking orders from booksellers and influencing buying decisions
  • Maximize sales of McGraw Hill\xe2\x80\x99s products and services in the Higher Education market in Singapore
  • Liaise with key stakeholders within the Higher Education market to identify new business opportunities and grow McGraw Hill\xe2\x80\x99s market share by developing relationships, networking and fact-finding to drive the achievement of targets and objectives
  • Makes suggestions on strategies and changes to develop business in assigned territory
  • Maintain accuracy in company records such as ensuring all calls have been logged correctly in SalesForce.com , opportunities have been tracked correctly and customers\xe2\x80\x99 details are accurately captured
Key competencies required for this role:
  • Previous sales or business development experience coupled with the understanding of managing the complete sales cycle.
  • Experience within a digital, software or online product s environment would be advantageous.
  • Experience with SalesForce would be advantageous
  • An understanding of the Education sector. This would be desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; Fluency in English (Listening, Speaking, Reading & Writing)
