Support the museum with daily operations including welcoming school groups, corporate groups and public visitors
Work closely with the Programmes Team on delivering educational offers such as tours, workshops, online programmes and events to schools and the public
Engage with the Museumxe2x80x99s visitors in a positive and professional manner, inspire and inform visitors of exhibitions and other spaces / activities within the Museum
Always provide quality experience to school groups and public visitors
Project a professional impression of the Museum always both verbally and in appearance
Maintain a clear understanding of all Standard Operating Procedures and all exhibitions relevant to the Museum
Liaise with Assistant Producer/Producer on daily and weekly roster patterns
Perform shift responsibilities, including weekends and public holidays reporting to the Assistant Producer/Producer for the smooth running of the day-to-day shift operations
Will be required to work some evenings and weekends for special programmes/events
To support in the planning and operations of exhibition related programming
Assist with administrative processes, including but not limited to updating websites, ticketing, daily operations, scheduling and when required, supporting Group Liaisons Officer to attend to enquiries
Take stock of all inventories needed to run and execute our educational programmes;
Take on any other duties within the Museum, as the business requires
Job RequirementsEducation & CertificationMinimum Diploma in Tourism/Hospitality/Arts Management/Art Education or related field preferredExperienceMinimum 1 year working experience in education and/or public engagement in the arts, culture or science industriesOther PrerequisitesThe ability to demonstrate a passion for learning and communicating the arts and sciencesEnjoy working with children and people of all agesAn awareness of current practices in museum-based education and/or education more broadlyMotivated and energetic, with the experience of having worked in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentAble to use good judgment and discretion and maintain calm demeanor in high volume or stressful situationsStrong written and spoken English and a confident public speakerExperience of presenting information to individuals or groups in a public/educational contextMarina Bay Sands is committed to building a diverse, equitable and inclusive workforce, providing equal opportunities as we grow our talent base to match our growth ambitions in Singapore.
