Job Description

We are seeking an experienced

EE / PCBA Engineer

to join our client,

Bro Rad Laboratories

, on a 1-year contract. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and validating electronic architectures and PCBAs for advanced robotic and life science systems.

Key Responsibilities

Develop electronic architecture from system requirements to PCBA board level. Design PCBAs incorporating microprocessors and motor control drivers. Handle mixed-signal electronics design, including component selection, schematic entry, PCB layout, board bring-up, and verification for prototypes and NPI manufacturing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex engineering challenges. Perform hardware testing at instrument level and provide actionable feedback. Lead and manage configuration of all hardware changes across instrument fleets. Own and maintain all EE components in SAP/PLM environment. Prepare and maintain full engineering documentation, test protocols, and compliance reports in a regulated environment. Plan, prepare, and lead EE design reviews, ensuring accountability and quality standards.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent. Minimum

10 years of experience

in electronic/PCBA engineering. Proficient in

OrCAD

and

Altium Designer

CAD tools. Strong expertise with microcontroller devices and circuit design. Skilled with lab equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and power supplies. Excellent troubleshooting experience in resolving EMI/EMC/ESD issues. Strong communication and presentation skills; effective team player. * Familiarity with

life science industry safety standards (IEC61010, risk management)

preferred.
