What you will do:

Support and complement the Engineering team in the electrical and instrumentation design related to refrigeration system or Cooling/heating plant system. To continue expand the capability of PLC programming in engineering team for future business. Able to help and support for standardization of PLC programming and built Instrument library for all custom build/standard unit.

How you will do it:

Responsibility in providing engineering support for the design, routing layout, and performing other related tasks pertaining to E&I issues, including E&I document preparation.

  • Prepare and design wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, hook-up diagrams, interconnection diagrams, single-line diagrams, cable schedules, earthing and logic diagrams.
  • Software and hardware design of control system for Refrigeration or Compressor Skids, including designing and programming of PLC Control Systems such as Siemens or Allen Bradley PLC.
  • Prepare instrument schedules, transmitter specifications, Modbus lists, I/O list, electrical data sheets, etc.,
  • Design of junction box details, cable trays, and work with skid designer for routing and location of such.
  • Specify temperature, pressure and differential transmitters, and flow meters.
  • Work closely and follow-up technically with control system designers and field instrument/ valve suppliers.
  • Provide field engineering support / advice towards electrical and instrumentation installation works at site or at sub-contractor\xe2\x80\x99s facilities.
  • To carry out engineering support work or other tasks that may be assigned by the Head of Engineering.
  • Able to study and understand specification of instruments for Ex-proof requirement.
What we look for:
  • Diploma / Degree in Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is a must.
  • Familiarity with international electrical engineering codes and standards.
  • Familiarity with the design of hardware and software control systems, and PLC systems such as Siemens & Allen Bradley is a must.
  • Minimum 1-2 years relevant experience, preferably in refrigeration, chemical process, oil and gas (onshore and offshore), or similar industry.
  • Experience with working in PLC system integrator or Control panel company is a PLUS.
  • Meet or improve the committed submission schedule of E&I documents, and complete assigned tasks within the time frame given.
  • Able to read and understand tender requirement/specification to design PLC program as per requirement.
  • Support and help to achieve cost effective with Project team.
