The Opportunity
  • Opportunity to work in the globally renown US MNC within the Chemical Industry
Objectives of the position
  • Perform a variety of skilled electrical & instrumentation (E&I) duties including store inventory management, project execution, new equipment installation, repair, and modification of existing plant equipment and/or components.
  • Perform equipment and facilities maintenance through repair, troubleshoot towards various mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic equipment
  • Ability to utilize Hart Communicator, Pressure Calibrator, Process Calibrator, Multimeter, Thermal Imager
  • Project follow up and vendor management
  • Maintain electrical switch gear and power distribution
  • Raise permit to work for contractor in accordance to PSM requirement
  • Communicate with production, quality control, warehouse, and other departments to maintain a safe and effective environment and to ensure quality products
  • Seeking opportunities to develop and stay current on industrial technologies and equipment
  • Perform or assist with any operations, as required, or directed to maintain workflow or respond to emergency conditions


Requirements
  • Nitec or Diploma in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or its equivalent skilled trade
  • Min 5 years of relevant Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) experiences within the Process Construction Maintenance (PCM) sector
  • Knowledge of Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) equipment operations and maintenance skill and knowledge
  • Familiar with P&ID, electrical drawing, instrument loop diagram, Engineering Drawing
  • Experienced in vendor/contract management.
