Responsible to supervise the preparation and the execution of the Instrumentation installation and commissioning activities of all systems /subsystems of teh FPU hull & topside package which are carried out by the Contractor Onshore and Offshore team.Ensure that all commissioning activities are carried out in accordance with company HSE rules and instructions as well as regulatory protocol and codes of conduct.Responsible for Pre-commissioning of main control systems for the FPU comprises of Yokogawa Centum VP Distribution Control System (DCS) and Yokogawa Pro-Safe Safety Instrument System (SIS).Carry out commissioning providing field Technical Support for instrument and control system installations for upper deck, lower deck, living quarters, E-house and Helipad Area on the working platform.Responsible for the interface between engineering and construction/MC Team/Commissioning, expedite commissioning activities, provide technical support to all site query, verification and engineering of all modifications in the FPU.Responsible for the design and detail engineering of marine system, integrated engineering of Topside with various modules which includes CPE & CPI Panels, PSD, F&G and ESD system.Review Engineering documents on behalf of Shell to ensure compliance to specifications/class regulations and correctness with construction documents.Interface Management with various package vendors and module contractors, review of all their documents to ensure compliance to client requirements, classification and statutory regulations.Maintain regular communication channels with counterparts on contractors, organise meetings when necessary with any contractors entity during the preparation work.Responsible for the overall safety of commissioning activities which will be executed by the Contractor for the Hull and Topside of the FPU package.Responsible for monitoring the Pre-commissioning activity performed by the Contractor and witnessed by the Company construction Team.Verify the content and countersign all pre-commissioning dossiers at Ready for commissioning (RFC) status.Supervise the execution of the Commissioning done by contractor for the hull & topside of the FPU package.Check the progress against the plan and recommend any corrective actions.Ensure correct reporting of instrumentation commissioning activities.Prepare the commissioning dossiers and certificates after completion of commissioning activities of the Hull and Topside of the FPU package for acceptance by the Field Operation Team.Review and approve the commissioning dossier prepared by Contractor for the Instrumentation activities for the Hull & Topside of the PFU package.A recognised engineering degree in Electrical, Electronic, Control Systems/Instrumentation.At least 5 years of relevant working experience in similar capacity in lead commissioning role on onshore/offshore projects.Work experience in TLP/FPU/FSO/FPSO is an advantage.Must possess requisite skills of Yokogawa DCS, SIS to operate competently, troubleshoot and make recommendation /modifications to DCS, PLC, and HMI sytems, and integration.Proficiency in microsoft office suites and autocadFluency in English and good communication skills and strong management.
