Responsibilities:

This position is within EISG (Electronic Industrial Solutions Group) where we research, innovate, develop and manufacture the world's most advanced manufacturing test solutions used to produce various electronic products, such as notebook motherboards, automotive ECUs and smart meters.

In this role, you will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team of R&D engineers developing next-generation electrical systems and components. You will design analog and mixed signal circuits from various technologies, starting with system-level specifications and culminating in fully qualified products.

As an Electrical and Electronics Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

Design and Development:

Apply your knowledge of Electrical Engineering to design and develop products that enhance test coverage and accuracy of the Keysight family of In-Circuit and Integrated Circuit Packaging Structural Testers.

Experimentation and Innovation:

Conduct experiments to test and validate new concepts, ensuring they can be effectively brought to reality.

Regulatory Compliance:

Work with the project team to ensure the final product meets all regulations and customer requirements.

Feasibility and Practicality:

Create customer electrical structures to first prove feasibility and then practicality, meeting design goals. Produce all necessary documentation for fabrication by service groups.

Analysis and Evaluation:

Carry out analysis and evaluations of successive hardware versions to ensure fundamentals are understood, basic problems are solved, and the design is robust enough to avoid future issues due to component/environmental variations.

Integration and Modification:

Assist in the integration, evaluation, and modification of overall instruments/systems. Provide tested functional hardware for the same.

Documentation:

Ensure all documentation is completed and in proper form, including important component specifications.

Production Support:

Work with the manufacturing team to bring new products into production and provide technical support to maintain production.

Qualifications:

Recognized degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Strong experience in analog circuit design and analysis. Proven design for manufacturability experience with successful product transfer from prototype to production. Solid knowledge of material science and material properties. Experience in complicated industrial module design, such as EMC design for systems with electronic components, is a plus. Strong verbal and written English communication skills. Ability to theoretically analyse system requirements and translate them into design specifications. Demonstrated flexibility, creativity, and initiative to perform successfully in a rapidly changing environment. Good interpersonal skills and planning capability to achieve results. Ability to communicate needs, plans, and achievements at all levels of a corporate organization. Strong analytical problem-solving skills.

Desired Qualifications:

Working knowledge of manufacturing test industry is highly regarded Hands-on user experience with In-circuit testers especially Keysight 3070 series of ICT.
