Facilitates effective execution of discipline engineering and design routines that align with the team's goals, objectives, and procedures. Assures accurate and timely communication among the team and other company Functions on discipline engineering activities, progress, and issues. In addition to technical ability, they should demonstrate sound communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities To lead the electrical startup team with maintenance to ensure all critical installation, testing and commissioning hold points are being met To be the single point of contact for other SUT members and EPC contractors with regards to any electrical technical queries To create hold points in the ITP, witness field testing, review QC documents, Punch listing and PSSR To uphold Electrical Safe Work practice throughout the installation, testing and commissioning phases. Being the SME and single point of contact for electrical safety. Work with the Field Safety team in ensuring an injury free startup. To coordinate with existing site business team to facilitate project scope on existing site equipment. For example: energization of 66kV feeder, extension of existing switchgear/MCC, health check on existing equipment, etc. To review Equipment Strategy developed by BTC and cold eye task implementation To review Maintenance PM Procedures prepared by Maintenance To V&V equipment preservation till startup To build up maintenance team competency. Understand electrical equipment to be installed by this project and assess what are the additional training required for the maintenance technician. Provide training and coordinate with FLS to arrange maintenance technician to be presence during commissioning and testing activities. In addition to all Level 1 tasks, a level 2 will: Applies mathematical and engineering principles and methods to electrical system designs. Contributes to research efforts to develop a solution or a new product.
