Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Electrical Engineer

to design, develop, and maintain electrical systems and components. The ideal candidate will apply engineering principles to ensure safety, reliability, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions for both new projects and maintenance of existing systems. Preferably familiar with Military Standards in vehicle.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Development

Design electrical systems, circuits, and wiring diagrams for military, retail, or commercial projects.


Develop schematics, technical drawings, and specifications using CAD software.


Select appropriate materials, components, and equipment to meet project requirements.

Testing & Maintenance

Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and prototype testing.


Troubleshoot electrical issues and recommend corrective measures.


Ensure all electrical installations and systems are safe, efficient, and compliant with codes/regulations.

Project Execution

Collaborate with mechanical and software engineers on multidisciplinary projects.


Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.


Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and operation.

Compliance & Documentation

Prepare detailed reports, specifications, and technical manuals.


Ensure adherence to electrical codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.


Keep updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in

Electrical Engineering

(Master's is an advantage). Proven experience in electrical design, installation, and maintenance. Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD). Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards (e.g., IEC, NEC, IEEE). Preferably to have knowledge of Military Standards (e.g, Mil_Std_461, Mil_Std_810 etc). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong teamwork and communication abilities.

Experience with

Typical Work Environment

Office and workshop environments. Collaboration with contractors, suppliers, and clients. * May involve local, overseas travel and site supervision.
