We're looking for an Electrical Engineer who thrives in a startup environment -- hands-on, resourceful, and ready to take ownership of projects from concept to launch.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Design & Development

Design, prototype, and validate electrical systems for new consumer electronic products. Develop and test analog/digital circuits, PCB layouts, and embedded systems. Collaborate with firmware engineers, designers, and product managers to integrate hardware and software seamlessly.

Research & Development (R&D)

Conduct product teardowns and reverse engineering of competitor products to identify benchmarks, opportunities, and best practices. Explore new components, sensors, and technologies to improve product performance and reliability. Translate R&D findings into actionable design or manufacturing improvements.

Prototyping & Testing

Build and evaluate functional prototypes using lab instruments and rapid prototyping tools. Perform electrical validation, stress tests, and performance analysis. Troubleshoot and debug electrical issues during development and production.

Quality Assurance & Manufacturing Support

Conduct incoming quality checks, end-of-line testing, and failure analysis. Develop test procedures and QA documentation to ensure consistency in manufacturing. Support vendors and contract manufacturers to ensure design-for-manufacturing (DFM) and compliance with safety standards (e.g., CE, FCC, RoHS).

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field. 3+ years of experience in electronic product development (consumer products preferred). Strong knowledge of circuit design, PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad, Eagle), and embedded systems fundamentals. Hands-on experience with lab instruments (oscilloscopes, multimeters, soldering, etc.). Familiarity with firmware development (C/C++ or Arduino) is a plus. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
