Job Description

Hegen is a fast-growing company specialising in mother and baby products, with a mission to enhance the breastfeeding journey for both the mother and baby. We are looking for a design-centric Electrical Engineer to join our newly-formed R&D Department. He/she will help to drive new product developments and bring to life innovative product designs that enhance the breastfeeding experience for mothers around the world.:

• Participate in development of new products from conceptualisation of design, design verification testing, troubleshooting, regulatory certification to production
• Responsible for the design, inspection and testing of electronics systems and components
• Develop electronics for interactive product functionality, including user interface and wireless communication capabilities
• Perform circuit integration, schematic generation and circuit/system levels testing and optimization
• Continuously improve tools and best practices for high-speed digital and wireless/RF design
• Observe existing processes and make recommendations for improvement
• Develop effective maintenance, testing, and quality control procedures
• Collaborate with software, mechanical and quality engineers to deliver product functionality
• Keep abreast with advancements and latest trends in electronics engineering and design

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent with minimum 5 years of relevant hardware design experience
• Proficiency with both analog and digital design, PCB design, and electronics simulation and modeling tools
• Experience with design of products using Wifi and/or Cellular, as well as designing for international markets, including understanding of power, safety and EMC/EMI compliance standards
• Proven ability on successful delivery of complex electronic systems
• Strong lab skills for design debug and verification required
• Familiarity with embedded firmware development desired, rich experience of C and C++ development is a plus
• Knowledgeable and experienced with mass production and manufacturing appliances/products
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language
• Positive, tenacious and passionate about design
• Flexible & adaptable with excellent time management

Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $5,000.00 - $8,000.00 per monthSchedule:

• Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:

• 13th month salary

Experience:

• Electrical engineering: 5 years (Preferred)
