• Engineer must have hands on experience in analog and digital electronics design, including optoelectronics, power electronics and embedded systems, as well as safety and EMC compliance knowledge.
• Engineer will be responsible for the design from concept, schematic, layout until the design files release for PCB fabrication & Assembly. He/She will be also responsible for board bring up, functional testing and integration of electronics boards into life science instrumentation.
• Engineer should be well versed in CAD tools for schematic and PCB design. Working knowledge in CADENCE OrCAD, Mentor Graphics PADS, or Altium Designer are preferred.

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (Honors) with proven relevant experience, Master’s Degree is preferred.

• Experience working in multi-disciplinary design teams, preferably in the field of biotechnology instrumentation.
• Extensive experience with analog & digital electronics, power electronics, schematics capture & layout design (including library design), cable assembly design, and design documentation.
• Experience with embedded systems, DC/stepper motor drivers, opto-electronics, CMOS/CCD control electronics.
• Experience in NPI project execution and familiar with Product Development Life Cycle
• Experience in Altium is added advantage
• Prototypes board development experience is a must.
• Working experience in cross-functional teams is required for senior engineer position.

• Years of relevant experience required: 6-9 Years
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and failure analysis knowledge is a must.
• Broad knowledge of state-of-the-art components, lab tools, and electronics CAD products is required.
• Knowledge of EMC countermeasures to Class B levels
• Hands-on experience in AutoCAD, OrCAD, PADS, or Altium.
• Meticulous and tenacious self-starter
• Successful candidate should be a good team player with excellent communication skill.
