Job Description

Maintaining, implementing, or enhancing electrical instruments, facilities, components, equipment products, or systems for industrial, commercial, or domestic purposes. Performing a broad spectrum of engineering tasks by utilizing computer-aided design or engineering software and equipment. Ensuring that installation and operations adhere to standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications, technical drawings, or topographical maps. Ensuring adherence to specifications, codes, or customer requirements by overseeing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, support, or testing activities. Collaborating with various project stakeholders to achieve project objectives. Addressing and resolving technical problems and issues with diverse parties. Preparing Method of Statements (MOS) (inspection test plan, safe work procedures) & other documents such as Requests for Information (RFI) etc. Compiling reports (weekly, monthly) on project progression and completion. Conducting communication with individuals at all levels and resolving arising conflicts. Gathering and evaluating drawing and technical information. Ensuring all plans comply with governmental health, safety regulations, trade requirements, and code of practice. Providing guidance and leadership to contractor teams and executing operations or project tasks. Developing work schedule micro programs, planning ahead of work program, conducting presentations, tracking and monitoring task progress. Undertaking other ad-hoc duties as assigned.


Requirements


Possession of exceptional interpersonal skills and communication abilities, along with leadership qualities to influence others. Efficient, possessing good analytical skills and capable of independent work. Possession of a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from accredited universities recognized by the Building and Construction Authority (BCA). Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a marine construction or general construction company is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project, and AutoCAD software. * Availability to commence work immediately or with short notice.
