Purpose & Scope Execute assigned electrical maintenance activities, within schedule and cost, in compliance with regulatory and company\'s standards and requirements, in particular company\'s safety standards at Banyan CCP3 & BWWT. Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Plan and execute the scheduled, routine, PM & CM maintenance activities within schedule and cost and OEM improvement program and in compliance with regulatory and company\'s standards and requirements
- Good knowledge and experience of electrical switching operations, maintenance and troubleshooting of MV/LV switch gears, HV/LV motors, 230KV SF6CB, 21 KV GCB, VFD\xe2\x80\x99s MOVs, HVAC, overhead crane, battery charger & UPS, transformers, electrical protection systems, static frequency converter and static excitation system etc.
- Inspect plant electrical equipment/condition as per SOP and report to Team Lead
- Conduct troubleshoot/ fault diagnosis/ failure analysis to determine cause of failure and report to Team Lead
- Develop Risk Assessment and mitigation measures for every Maintenance job in the plant
- Apply for Permit to Work (PTW) as the Competent Person (CP) for every Maintenance work in the plant
- Able to perform 230kV and 6.6kV switching operations as the Electrical Authorized Person (EAP)
- Perform isolation and de-isolation of high voltage (>1000 volts) equipment as the Electrical Authorized Person (EAP)
- Supervise contractors and liaise with other maintenance crafts and operations technicians to execute maintenance activities
- Withdraw and prepare spares from warehouse for job execution
- Maintain strategic and inventory spares in the warehouse to ensure sufficient maintenance spares are available
- Prepare daily updates on Maintenance activities for the day to all stakeholders (operations)
- Successful candidate can be appointed as part of the Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) (training will be provided)
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- No experience required
- Prior experience (3 years or more) in relevant Maintenance fields in a Power Plant or Petrochemical Industry would be preferred
- Safety conscious
- Able to work independently
- Ability to work in a team
- Communication skills in giving feedback and reporting to Engineers
- Basic PC skills (e.g. Excel & Words)
