Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee electrical and electronic systems for drydocks, repairs, and new installations.
- Improve vessel electrical and electronic equipment performance.
- Manage repair budgets and projects, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
- Conduct ship inspections and create repair plans.
- Supervise electrical and electronic system maintenance and installation.
- Produce technical reports on repair projects.
- Provide onboard electrical support and training.
- Develop and improve repair processes and systems.
- Recruit and train electrical engineers.
- Analyze electrical issues and develop solutions.
- Support vessels with remote electrical troubleshooting.
- Extensive electrical and electronic engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of shipboard systems and regulations.
- Project management and budgeting skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Leadership and training capabilities.
- Ability to travel and work flexible hours.
- Relevant certifications (Bizsafe, Shipyard Safety Supervisor).
