Electrical Technician

Job Description
This position reports to the Farm Manager and is responsible for the smooth operations of the equipment and machineries inside a South East Asia’s largest high tech hydroponics glass Greenhouse.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of all mechanical machines such as the hydraulic lift, conveyor system and mechanical growing system.
- Install and replace motors, sensors, solenoid valves, pressure switch and frequency inverter.
- Perform daily checks on all electrical equipment and machines.
- Perform weekly preventive maintenance of all equipment and machines.
- Responsible for installation and replacement of PLC input/output modules and handling of PLC system including modifying PLC program, download/upload program for machine improvement.
- Commission, perform testing and assessments of any new electrical power systems.
- Record details of repairs made and parts used.
- Any other ad-hoc assignments assigned by the Management
REQUIREMENT
- Good understanding of electrical components and wiring
- Can speak and understand English, 5-10 yrs of experience or more on electrical systems
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Ability to supervise and manage a team of workers in installation of electrical wiring and electrical systems
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Lunch provided
- Transport pickup to and from Kranji MRT
- 5.5 days work week: 8 am to 5 pm (to work on alternate Saturdays)
