JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for the maintenance of SG WTE Plants (Senoko and Tuas) equipment.
Uphold a safe operating environment and carry out all maintenance activities in compliance with Keppel's policies, Plant safe work procedures as well as plant inhouse rules and government legislation.
Assist in carrying out preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance efficiently and effectively for process, utilities equipment, Fire Safety equipment and building facilities (Electrical, Instrumentation and Operating Technology).
Manage and coordinate with Inhouse Contractors and Ad-hoc Contractors on any repairs, maintenance works, site visit and ensuring the quality of work carried out are as per requirement.
Response promptly & attend to call for emergency to minimize operation impacts and enhance reliability.
Perform inspections for the received spare parts and tools.
Ensure proper maintenance on workshop tools and safe keeping.
Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment faults and provide solutions.
Assist Engineer to plan and implement continual improvement programs.
Assist Engineer to implement internal training and OJT programs.
Assist Engineer to develop Risk Assessment and mitigation measures for every Maintenance job in the plant
Assist in conducting plant tour and training for students and other visitors.
Withdraw and prepare spares from store for job execution.
Perform inspections for the received spare parts and tools.
Prepare daily updates on Maintenance activities for the day to all stakeholders (operations)
Successful candidate can be appointed as part of the Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) (training will be provided)
Perform duties with responsibility and to upkeep safety in job deliveries.
Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisor / plant management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
Higher NITEC / Diploma in Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in performing duties equivalent to Electrical / Instrumentation Technician with plant maintenance, including repair, installation, and maintenance of electrical equipment such as instrumentation systems, transformers, switches, control panels and electronic components.
Must have ability to learn and work effectively with the plant's Distributed Control System (DCS) and PLC control.
Experience in inspection, testing, calibration, maintenance and repair of process instrumentation and control equipment.
Able to interpret the P&I diagram, loop diagram and Electrical circuits.
Proficient in basic office computer software.
Positive attitude and a good team-player.
This is a 2 years contract position.
