Job Description

• Maintenance (Electrical, Controls & Instrumentation, Utilities/Automation) of the power plant according to procedures and requirements including but not limited to starting, loading, unloading and shutting down the complete plant and systems
• Have sound knowledge of the safe operating parameters, controls, precaution and safety interlocks when starting and loading plant equipment so as to avoid damage and to be able to run the plant in the most efficient manner
• Plant process conditions troubleshooting, analyzing and testing when necessary
• Able to manage, monitoring and control the plant process operation from control room DCS
• Record plant operating data and report defects and abnormalities
• Carry out isolation/normalization of equipment as require by the Permit To Work System
• Understand and familiar with Plant Chemistry including handling of plant waste discharge
• Carry out plant change-over and conduct testing of equipment to meet statutory compliance and best industry practices
• Input to and liaison where necessary for long term Station planning

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma relevant Electrical, Electronics or Automation Engineering discipline
• 2-3 years relevant working experience in Power Plant ideally on a CCPP or Process Plant
• Experience involvement in technical aspects of Power Plant or Process Plant maintenance
• Good hands-on knowledge in performing Power Plant or Process Plant equipment maintenance
• Experience in the erection, commissioning and initial start-up phases of a modern Power Plant is an advantage
