Ensure that electrical safety rules and regulations under the WSH Act including WSH (Construction) Regulations 2007 and any relevant Codes of Practice are complied with.
Ensure that all electrical hand tools used on site are in safe and good working conditions.
Ensure that adequate lightings are provided to all site offices, common passageways, hoists, worker quarters, toilets, canteen and work areas.
Ensure that all electrical hand tools brought in by the Sub-contractors are thoroughly inspected, tagged and recorded.
Record the monthly electrical consumption on site and monitor the electrical usage on site.
Ensure that the Licensed Electrical Worker inspected all temporary electrical installation on site and follow-up on the advises recommended.
Ensure all Socket Outlet Assemblies are well maintained at site.
No unauthorized tapping of electricity or unsafe installation at site.
Report knowledge of any work which is carried out at or in the vicinity of any high-risk construction work and which is likely to pose a risk to the safety or health of persons at work in the worksite to site WSHE personnel / Site Manager / Site Agent / supervisor immediately.
To ensure risk assessment control measures are implemented for their activities.
To stop work and rectify or notify WSHE Dept if any WSHE deviation is observed.
