About MyrLabs MyrLabs is an A*STAR spin-off that creates cutting edge hardware and algorithms. The MyrLabs team consists of driven and multi-disciplinary engineers dedicated to bringing game-breaking solutions for our partners by innovating at the PCB, firmware, and software levels. We work on problems that academia fears to, cannot, or will not address. These are problems that are difficult and require multi-disciplinary efforts. Job Brief We are looking for Embedded Systems / Software Engineers to join our team. You would primarily be writing firmware on hardware devices, in particular, hardware devices that may interface with robots, sensors, cameras, haptic controllers, and audio components. The work that you do will be used in publicly accessible environments and be used to address real-world needs.

Responsibilities 1. Develop firmware code which entails writing drivers and optimizing the code for use on a chosen MCU/MPU 2. Work with Software and Robotics Engineers to interface with the hardware devices 3. Participate in end-user trials, deployments, and evaluation runs

Technical Requirements

• Relevant Bachelors or Masters in the field of Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, or Robotics, OR proof of exceptional talent.

• Proven experience for development using C/C++
  

Nice to Haves

• Experience working with researchers or participating in research efforts

• Experience in developing hardware from concept to production
• Familiarity with parallel, concurrent, or distributed computing
