Undertake the design and sizing of technologies related to Energy Transition such as Wind, Biomass, Waste to energy, Hydrogen, Carbon Capture, Gas Turbine, Battery Energy storage etc
Perform and/or check/review computer simulations such as WAsP, Homer Pro for the energy yield assessments and to optimize generation and efficiency
Develop design specifications on high level mechanical, electrical and digital systems of BoP
Optimise multiple energy resources and financial modelling
Develop design specifications and functional requirements of technologies
Preparation and submission of proposals for new projects
Supporting the tendering processes from RFP development to tender evaluation
Keep abreast with the latest technologies and trends
Support in project execution and commissioning activities, such as preparing and monitoring project schedule, controlling communication and project document flow to meet deadlines, supervise contractor\xe2\x80\x99s work on site and attend meetings with clients and other stakeholders
Developing and maintaining engineering standards, specifications, and best practices for design and maintenance.
About you
Relevant Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree
3+ years\xe2\x80\x99 industry experience
Experience in the design and application of the renewable technologies - solar, wind and energy enablers like BESS is essential
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong analytical skills and ability to be an independent problem solver
Able to perform well under tight timeline and fast pace moving environment and multi-tasking ability with good self-discipline and working under minimum supervision as individual contributor or part of a cross functional team
Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively within a diverse and multi-disciplinary environment.
