Job Purpose

The Engagement Manager will be expected to

  • Lead by example by displaying Staytion values on a day-to-day basis and encourage & assist all Engagement Associate to do the same
  • Regularly step into the shoes of Engagement Associate to ensure Engagement Manager is felt on the floor.
  • Positively influence and maintain the Staytion culture through direct and indirect action as needed
  • Take every opportunity to promote Staytion both internally and externally
Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise Engagement Associate so that they are engaged and consistently delivering an exceptional experience
  • Facilitate training and induction to ensure Engagement Associate can achieve current role requirements
  • Ensure Engagement Associate follow specific systems and procedures and complete checklists fully and on time
  • Welcome and serve members in an efficient and friendly manner and provide high level of product and service knowledge
  • Develop relationships with members and proactively understand their needs
  • Make recommendations to the Operation Manager on how to improve the overall member experience
  • Actively promote suite of Staytion programs and products to members and guests
  • Work closely with Engagement Associates, manage move-ins and move-outs; ensuring that all new members are fully prepared, and transitions run smoothly
  • Identify promising deals with potential members and ensure that your team provides informative, high-quality tours to drive membership sales
  • Responsible for a variety of membership sales, packages, negotiations and closing of deals
  • Proactively communicate upcoming bookings, programs, customer activity with team to assist in planning and coordination
  • Check rosters and ensure breaks are allocated based on member activity.
  • Manage members issues and resolve promptly
  • Forward all feedback regarding promotions, team members, members experience and complaints to the Operations Manager for review
  • Complete Centre operating checklists and ensure that food safety standards are maintained
  • Ensure First Aid and other equipment is regularly checked, maintained, and stocked to ensure that safety standards are met
  • Ensure the centre are clean and well presented at all times
  • Follow systems for stock control and food storage
  • Ensure that the presentation of food, beverage and merchandise is of a high standard
  • Ensure safe food and beverage handling standards and quality is maintained
  • Follow specified F&B systems and procedures and complete checklists fully and on time
  • Complete equipment and maintenance audits and required checklists for all areas
  • Ensure preventative maintenance is completed in a timely manner
  • Ensure required repairs are made promptly using approved contractors
Qualifications & Work Experience
  • Diploma from recognized institute and/or minimum 2-year experience in the Customer service, F&B, events and hospitality sectors.
  • Fresh graduates will also be considered
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong organisation skills and ability to multitask
  • Effectively handle pressure and problem solving
  • Keen eye for details and ability to take initiative
