Position Summary:
Be part of a highly dynamic and competent Engineering Team who is responsible to meet the quality, productivity and cost targets in a high volume, multi-product and life science regulated environment through developing effective world class engineering solutions.
Process/Product Lifecycle Engineer 2 serves an important role in ensuring that the product is transferred, manufactured and delivered at the utmost quality to the customer. The individual will interact extensively with other departments such as research and development, manufacturing, tooling, facilities, supply chain and quality assurance to develop processes for new products, sustain and improve processes for existing products.
Position Responsibilities:
Work closely with R&D to develop Design-for-Manufacturing (DFM) processes for NPI, leveraging learning from existing products and provides feedback on material component selection and associated test plans
Sustain the production line to ensure Safety, Availability, Quality, Cost and Compliance (SAQCC) targets are met
Drive advanced failure analysis, root cause identification and corrective actions for product quality concerns and/or issues during manufacturing and NPI ramp
Analyzes field quality data, construct and execute design of experiments to identify areas for prevention and improved detection
Lead process or issue technical deep dive, characterization and First Principle understanding towards long term preventive and corrective measures
Experience with using engineering tools and software packages (eg R, JMP, etc) to test, design and evaluate products and manufacturing margins
Proactively drives process improvement activities through FMEA, DOE & Six Sigma etc. to ascertain and recommend improvement to processes or test methods
Ability to interpret test result and correlate results with product failure performance

Preferred Experience/Education/Skills:
Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of related experience with a Master\xe2\x80\x99s/Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree; or equivalent work experience
Experience in FDA-regulated environment is a plus
Knowledge about wafer fabrication processes will be an added advantage
Possess good understanding of manufacturing process, methodologies, and environment
Capable of defining test plans for components, materials, and systems
Skilled in failure analysis of multiple reliability failure modes
Excellent Analytical, Problem Solving and Project Management skills
Good understanding of Quality Assurance and Process Control Knowledge
Excellent team player, interpersonal and communication skill
Able to work well under stress, both internally and across functions and perform multitasking
