The Product Engineer is responsible for translating market understanding into right-sized, right-priced specifications, design and implementation of products and solutions. This role requires good technology awareness, system thinking and design fundamentals. The Product Engineer will work with a multi-disciplinary team and be exposed to interactions with customers, partners, vendors, and sub-contractors. All efforts will feed into delivering mission-critical autonomous solutions for maritime vessels. Experience in maritime industry and power supply design is preferred.Be Part of Our Success

• Product conceptualisation, design, manufacture, and testing
• Technology scanning, experimentation, and evaluation for product advancement
• Maintain good awareness, understanding and rationalisation of market trends.
• Design, source, and integrate subsystems, and evaluate hardware and software solutions.
• Work with industry partners to evaluate and adapt their solutions to fulfil requirements.
• Work with internal engineering development team to define required solutions.
• Troubleshoot system and propose solutions to ensure high availability of system.
• Develop and execute integration and test plans.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation.
• Communicate with customer on system design and implementation.

Qualities We Value

• Knowledge in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles.
• Good technical, creativity in problem-solving skills and strong reasoning ability.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
• Interest in current affairs and market intelligence gathering and analysis.
• Familiarity with product design processes
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to travel as required.
