Description:
The role involves the development, design, and management of civil engineering and infrastructure design projects, both internally and in partnership with contractors or project teams. It is essential to ensure that all engineering tasks adhere to relevant statutory standards, regulations, and codes of practice. Responsibilities include overseeing design evaluations and participating in design coordination meetings. Collaboration with drafters on drawings related to the design is also a key aspect of this position.
Job Requirements
Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering or its equivalent. Experience in concrete and steel structures design, and temporary works design. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of local codes of practice and regulations required for submissions to authorities. * Exhibit strong proficiency in essential structural design software, including ETABS, STAAD Pro, SAFE, SAP 2000, and MIDAS.
