The Job

• Implement an advanced quality plan for new product/process development, based on the SPEED framework.
• Support the project manager in identifying quality risks related to the physical attributes, functional performance, and reliability of the product.
• Ensure that program goals, including quality and reliability, are achieved in accordance with customer and product specifications and standards (e.g., Reach/ROHS).
• Analyze initial product and process prototype data to identify areas of potential risk and propose strategies to mitigate them.
• Monitor and report the initial capabilities of the process and product during prototype build.
• Collaborate with the core team to identify critical-to-quality (CTQ) parameters and drive the project team in developing risk mitigation plans and Poka Yoke systems.
• Translate expected product performance into a qualification plan.
• Work closely with the project team to validate the product specification and ensure it meets customer expectations.
• Develop and generate validation qualification plans and reports.
• Grant authorization for product release to customers.
• Define and validate the Product Control Plan/Safe Launch Plan.
• Actively contribute to the development of Design and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA/PFMEA).
• Define and validate samples for Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
• Conduct risk assessments for both the product and process.
• Audit project deliverables and verify the completion of project phases.
• Take the lead in addressing potential customer complaints and apply the Quick Response Quality Control (QRQC) methodology to resolve issues.

The Talent

• Degree in Engineering, material science and Quality Assurance
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in quality capacity
• Relevant experience QC core tools, 8D reporting, knowledge of ISO 9001/ TS 16949 and QMS auditing experience
• Involves in New Product Introduction (NPI) in quality capacity will be added advantage
