Make an Impact by

  • Responsible for supporting and maintaining IT Infrastructure and Application monitoring/Log Analytics platforms as part of the Observability Framework in the organization
  • Administration, Maintenance and Support of infrastructure, application Monitoring and log management platforms such as Dynatrace, Elastic and open source monitoring platforms.
  • Create new monitoring templates based on business requirements and keep it updated at all times to ensure relevance to business
  • Create comprehensive monitoring dashboard and alerting mechanism to ensure alerts reach the respective support group in a timely manner.
  • Maintain the reliability, availability, performance and security of Monitoring and Log Analytics Platform and to meet agreed Service Levels
  • Assisting with Incident and Change management process as part of the team day to day function.
  • Review the configurations of Log monitoring and Management platform and modify it regularly to ensure accuracy of alerts and minimize false alarms.
  • Effective communication and liaison with Various Support teams, both within and outside the team
  • Escalate potential issues and challengers with each of the tool\xe2\x80\x99s operational and technically capability. Expectation is to work with the Technical teams
  • Participation in on-call 24/7 support model to provide high availability of Services and monitoring platforms.
Skills for Success
  • Minimum 4 years relevant experience in Operations of IT Monitoring tools and Automation.
  • Good general understanding of IT technology, particularly in area of monitoring and Log Management.
  • Ability to administer and operate Infrastructure/Application Monitoring and Log Management services platforms such as Dynatrace, Elasticsearch Platform.
  • Experience in Administration tasks of Elasticsearch platform such as Pipeline management, Index Management and Maintenance, Watcher rule creations, Shards and Replica shards creations, Logstash modules, Beats agents.
  • Experience in rolling out of Application Performance monitoring agents such as Dynatrace agents, elastic Apm agents rollout etc..
  • Ability to perform day to day operations for stability of monitoring/logging platforms. Such as Platform upgrades, tech refresh, uplifting of platforms to latest features etc..
  • Dashboard creations in Kibana, Dynatrace for quicker insights of monitoring/logging data.
  • ITIL implementation experience and using ITIL standard looks such as ServiceNow.
  • Experience in using Jira tools such as creating Jira issues, Confluence, Bamboo Pipelines, Bitbuckets
  • Basic understanding of Software config management tools such as Puppet
  • Ability and experience to work with Windows, Linux/Unix operating system environments.
  • Ability to administer the platforms on Cloud hosting platforms such as Azure Cloud, AWS cloud
  • Ability to apply knowledge of current monitoring and alerting capability as operations team.
  • Ability and zeal to work simultaneously on smaller projects, delivering project milestones, and communicating effectively with a variety of technical support teams
  • Sound knowledge on networking terminology, Hardware, Software and Cloud Technologies such as Azure Cloud, AWS cloud etc.
  • Provide on-call support, handle BAU activities and respond to production incident tickets in a timely manner.
  • Experience with scripting basics such as (Bash, Python, Powershell etc..) and working from the command line in a Linux environment.
