Make an Impact by:

• Ensure that the Mobile PNF (Physical Network Function), VNF (Virtualized Network Function) and CNF (Containerized Network Function) platforms are operated and maintained optimally, with minimal disruption to our key mobile services.
• Supervise a team to carry out change management, i.e., perform system configuration changes, software/hardware updates and upgrades on network elements such as 5G SA Unified Data Management (UDM), IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS), Mobile Number Port (MNP).
• Liaise and coordinate with system vendors for change management testing and implementation, and fault troubleshooting and restoration.
• Define, implement, and maintain automation solutions. This may include security related instances to identify and respond to cybersecurity threats.
• Troubleshoot and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for system faults.
• As updates and upgrades may disrupt mobile services, the successful candidate occasionally needs to work outside regular working hours to carry out such activities.

Skills for Success:

Engineering degree, preferably in Electronic/Computer Engineering or Computer Science.

Possess good analytical skills, which is helpful in technical troubleshooting and fault restoration.

Familiar with scripting, i.e., Python, Ansible, Perl and Shell (Unix-based systems), will be an added advantage.

Knowledge on Virtualization, Containerization, Kubernetes, Cloud computing, and IP networking technologies are desirable.
