Responsibilities

Formulate, implement and manage QA/QC documents such as ITP, HAT,SAT and acceptance criteria and test protocols. Set up and execute quality control audits at planned stages to ensure products and services meet the contract specifications and shipyard's quality standards. Attend material acceptance, Factory acceptance test and sea trial as QA/QC representative as and when required. Prepare quality data collection, defect analysis and progress reports. Perform quality audits on shipyard's quality system as and when required. Represent shipyard ?to liaise with Class, Owner reps and regulatory bodies for acceptance of inspection, tests and trials. Manage the interests of various stakeholders on quality matters.

Requirements and skills

Degree / Diploma in Shipbuilding / Marine or Electrical Engineering. At least five years' experience in a similar capacity in the marine and offshore industry. Experience in shipyard to carry out inspection works on all trades (Hull, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, HVAC), and Commissioning will be preferred. Good hands-on working knowledge of Class rules and international regulations. Meticulous, organised and independent. Good communication skills, confident in spoken and written English. Proficient in relevant Microsoft Office programs, including Microsoft Project. Prior experience in government shipbuilding projects would be an added advantage.

Pay: $3,700.00 - $4,800.00 per month
